Rebecca Rubin Danker was born in Tel-Aviv, Israel. When she was ten years old, her talent 

was recognized by her sister Clair, a well known artist that resides in Ein-Hod, an artist’s community 

village next to Haifa, Israel. Years later Clair recommended that her parents send Rebecca 

to study at “Bezalel School of Art” in Jerusalem, for two reasons: Climate and Art.

In 1981 Rebecca’s silk screen print, showing the words “ Peace “ in English, Arabic and Hebrew, was presented to President Carter, after he signed the Peace Treaty with President Sadat of Egypt, and Israel’s Prime Minster Menachem Begin.

Her paintings and prints were purchased by numerous people, among them The Dean of Old Dominion University, Dr. and Mrs. Leon Leach, Norfolk VA., Dr. Safron, NYC and others.
